History
Quintet formed by Mariano Dalla Torre (main voice and guitar), Martín Rez Masud (producer, beat maker, synthesizer and voices), Matías Gorordo (percussion), Gonzalo Tohmé (bandoneón) and Denisse Sanz (rap).
Rez Masud and Dalla Torre have a wide career in mixing tango with electronic dance music. They started this journey at the beginnings of 2002, when there was a global explosion of electronic tango. They started as a duet, bringing electrotango into Mendoza. With this project they went over major stages around Argentina and the world, and even were invited several times to edit their songs in gathered collection in this music genre in Germany, Chile and Argentina, sharing stages with contemporary artists like Gotan Project and BajoFondo Tango Club.
Eight years went by and they stopped producing together to work in their own projects, that were developed with success from Mendoza to the world. But in 2015 something happened that rekindle the creation flame: they were asked to play as guest artist in a BajoFondo Tango Club concert that took place in Le Parc Cultural Centre in Mendoza.
Excited with the reunion and the possibility to go back to their first love, electrotango; they decided to merge with talents at the same level as them. So, the duet added Matías Gorordo, Gonzalo Tohmé, Denisse Sanz and VJ. Flash Attack (Martín Ríos), that will take the audience to several poetic visual dimensions.

Esthetic and sound concept
Their music could be fit in what for the last 20 years is been called electronic tango or electrotango. However, the musicians that took part in the group that was born in 2015, decided to expand their search and take it to what they call “New Tango”, an idea marked by innovation and instrumental versatility created by the artists, from organic and acoustic rhythms that come up from the particular percussion experiments of Matías Gorordo, the classic tango force of Dalla Torre´s singing and Tohmé´s bandoneón, the urban and hip hop culture stamp from Denisse Sanz, and the electronic programming and contemporary sound from the producer and keyboardist Martín Rez Masud.
As a result you get a mix that coordinate citizen and urban music with roots in tango and other Latin-American popular music styles, blended with avant-garde genres like Trap and Dubstep
Historia
Quinteto integrado por Mariano Dalla Torre (voz principal y guitarra), Martín Rez Masud (programaciones, sintes y voces), Matías Gorordo (percusión), Gonzalo Thomé (bandoneón) y Denisse Sanz (rap).
Rez Masud y Dalla Torre tienen una amplia trayectoria en la fusión de tango con música electrónica. Comenzaron con esta búsqueda a principios del año 2002, cuando hubo una explosión global de tango electrónico. Ellos empezaron a trabajar como duo, abriendo en Mendoza las puertas del electrotango. Con este proyecto recorrieron importantes escenarios de Argentina y el mundo, e incluso fueron convocados varias veces a editar sus canciones en compilados del género en Alemania, Chile y Argentina, compartiendo con artistas contemporáneos como Gotan Project y BajoFondo Tango Club.
Pasaron ocho años y dejaron de producir juntos para dedicarse a sus proyectos, que desarrollaron con éxito desde Mendoza para el mundo. Pero en 2015 ocurrió un hecho que despertó nuevamente la llama de la creación: fueron invitados a abrir un concierto que dio BajoFondo en centro cultural Le Parc (Mendoza)
Entusiasmados con el reencuentro y la posibilidad de volver a su primer amor, el electrotango, deciden completar la fusión con talentos que caminan a su par. Se unen entonces a la dupla, Matías Gorodo, Gonzalo Tohmé, Denisse Sanz y el VJ. Flash Attack (Martín Ríos), quien transportará a la audiencia a poéticas dimensiones visuales.
Concepto estético sonoro
Su música podría encuadrarse dentro de lo que en los últimos 20 años se ha denominado tango electrónico o electrotango.
Sin embargo, los músicos que componen la agrupación nacida en 2015 deciden expandir su búsqueda y llevarla hacia lo que ellos denominan “Nuevo Tango”, una propuesta signada por la originalidad y versatilidad instrumental que crean los artistas desde bases orgánicas y acústicas que brotan de los singulares experimentos percusivos de Matías Gorordo, la fuerza de tango clásico del canto de Dalla Torre y el fueye de Tohmé, la impronta urbana y cultura hip hop de la rapera Denisse Sanz y las programaciones electrónicas y el sonido contemporáneo del productor y tecladista Martín Rez Masud.
¿El resultado? Una mixtura que armoniza música ciudadana y urbana con bases en el tango y otros estilos de la música popular latinoamericana fusionada con géneros de vanguardia como el Trap y el Dubstep.
